Deadline for Changes or Corrections - Print Edition
For the print edition, corrected proofs must be received by the publication deadline for changes or corrections to be made. Corrections received after the publication deadline will be made online.
Publisher's Liability for Error
The Publisher's maximum liability for errors or omissions in connection with a listing is limited to the cost of the affected component of the listing, e.g. the maximum allowance for an error in a subject heading is the cost of the subject heading. Note that in an annual listing contract, each of the two print editions comprise 25% of the total value of the listing for billing purposes, and the online portion comprises 50% of the value of the listing. No allowance will be granted for any error that does not materially affect the value of the listing or any error contained in a listing that was proofed by the customer and not corrected by the customer. To qualify for an adjustment, the error must be reported within 30 days of the publication date of the information in print or on the Web site. The publisher assumes no liability for errors in free services offered as a courtesy to the customer, e.g. free news release postings or free Sources Calendar postings.
News Releases and Calendar Postings
Sources members may post news releases and calendar items at no cost using the online form. The release or calendar items must pertain to the organization, business, or individual submitting the release. The privilege of posting releases or calendar items at no cost is not transferable to clients or friends, nor may you post releases on behalf of your clients or friends. Organizations and individuals who are not Sources members may post releases upon payment of a fee of $49 per release. The effectiveness of the Sources news release service depends on providing genuinely newsworthy content. The service does not exist to distribute spam or advertising with no news value. Please do not cross-post calendar items into the news release form. All submissions will be reviewed by Sources staff prior to being posted online. Sources reserves the right to accept or reject items in accordance with its editorial policies and its mandate of providing journalists and others with information having genuine news value.
